In 2009, on the old premises of one of the most ancient Brivadois churches, a museographic site will open. It will be known as "the Country of Arts and History" and will introduce:

• The evolution of the site; remnants of the church and excavations of the square of Grégoire de Tours.
• The mural paintings and the sculpted décors in Brioude and the "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire".
• Medieval religious architecture in Brioude and the "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire".
• Pilgrimage and monastic layouts.

The location of "the Futur Espace Notre-Dame" will offer the tourist an exceptional view of St Julien basilica's apse.
