Brioude, sub-prefecture of the Haute-Loire, was once given the title of the capital of the salmon. At the beginning of the 20 th century, fishermen would come from all over the world, in the hope of catching this mythical fish

Dive into the depth of the 16 aquarium reconstituted river. Here starts my adventure, so follow me all along this long journey!!!

By the way, I almost forgot to introduce myself: I'm Plampougnit, le petit Auvergnat

Ears and eyes wide open, we will, along the way, come across the Allier River , its history, wealth as well as all its secrets

We will encounter the "Zones" of the Trouts, Graylings, Barbells and Breams

But I shan't say anymore and when you come to meet me I shall explain to you what these zones represent

At the end of the tour, I will lead you to the viewing room where a film will take you to the final stage of this journey. .

Old and young will enjoy this fantastic tale

Children, come with your friends and teachers. With my biological friends we provide you with half day or full day, theme linked workshops during which you will learn more about the river and its inhabitants.

As to you older ones, do come in groups. The guides will enjoy showing you the Allier with its different types of fish, as well as our "laboratory-museum"
